we are Sabrina and Andreas. We have been a couple since 2015 and previously enjoyed traveling alone with friends and family. Since we got together, the whole thing has multiplied, so that we take every opportunity to leave everyday life behind and explore the world outside. No matter whether it’s just one day or 100 days.
We are always looking for something new. We try to get to know new regions of the world, discover new cultures, experience new adventures and just always see something new.
We both live in Essen together with the most beautiful and smartest dog in the world, our chocolate. And even if he cannot accompany us on many trips due to his fear of flying, he is always in our hearts.
But what makes us both … we complement each other perfectly. While Andreas always drives too fast, Sabrina likes to drive too slowly. But we are also very similar and always complain about each other’s driving style.
Despite the small differences, we love traveling.
When we travel, we like to travel through less developed countries in order to broaden our horizons and simply experience a strong contrast to the usual western luxury problems. You are already caught in your own hamster wheel and a look from the outside can be good.
Through our travels we also appreciate more and more what we have here, but we also recognize how little care is taken in everyday life. Therefore, we try to pay more attention to our surroundings, regardless of whether humans or animals and the environment. If everyone is working on themselves, it can help to make a difference.
We also like to travel to interesting countries (and not so distant) like Norway, because we are extreme nature lovers in the depths of our hearts. Nevertheless, city trips and trips to “standard” destinations such as Ibiza, Mallorca and Barcelona are of course also included.
In our blog we try to tell you something about our passion. In addition to our personal experiences, here and there we also give practical tips, which we are always looking for when researching a new travel destination: where exactly does the bus leave, where can you park best, which route should you take?
In the end, it is also a kind of diary for us to put our experiences on paper. Who knows what you can still remember in old age. A blog like this can be very helpful.
If you have any questions or suggestions or just want to say hello, we would be happy to receive a comment, a like or an email.
Maybe you will see each other somewhere in the world.
Andreas
Spontaneous, crazy and always ready to go to the next beach
Andreas is the chaotic one of the two of us, who can concentrate on a specific destination for hours, days or even weeks … even if it is only a matter of saving 2 euros on the next flight by using a voucher, cashback and book via a specific foreign website combined. In addition, he can not close drawers 😉
Sabrina
Lovely & organized, and keeps Andreas from doing at least the biggest nonsense
Sabrina is the emotional part of both of us. Sometimes she can’t tell apart left and right. She is a vegetarian and would love to live vegan. When she grows up, she wants to build a sanctuary and then take care of all the poor animals that we see on our travels. Sabrina would even book a flight WITHOUT searching for coupons for 30 minutes beforehand. Andreas finds this irresponsible, but of course still loves her with all his heart. 😉

Want to say Hi?
Do you have a question or an idea or just want to say hello? Write to us!
Hello, I enjoyed reading about your Guatemala, Belize and Mexico trip, but can you tell me when you travelled there? I have read government warnings not to visit Guatemala, but you say it was completely safe so I’m wondering what year you went there. If some time ago, perhaps it has become less safe since then??

Hi Sherry,
we visited in 2019. It is possible that the safety level changed since then.
Best Wishes, Andreas
